This NOT a martial arts course.

  • Prepare the individual with practiced responses to sudden, rapidly unfolding, close up and personal attacks.
  • Target the individual that desires to be able to recognize and avoid danger spots, but may as we all may, encounter assailants at unexpected and unavoidable times and places.
  • Active hands on participation training session the the extent of your personal abilities and physical capabilities.

This is NOT a martial arts course. The sole intent of this course is to prepare the individual with practiced responses to  sudden, rapidly unfolding, close up and personal attacks. We will first discuss the danger areas where some attacks occur and the mind set (situational awareness) that will help you avoid becoming a helpless victim. This course will be based on methods developed for Police Defensive tactics training and instructed by a highly experienced (over 20 years) Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board ( the Illinois agency charged with developing and enforcing the standards that apply to ALL certified Police Training ) certified Instructor who has trained thousands of recruit and veteran Illinois Police Officers.

This course is targeted at the individual that desires to be able to recognize and avoid danger spots, but, may, as we all may, encounter assailants at unexpected and unavoidable times and places. The techniques learned and practiced in this course do not require physical strength or any special degree of fighting ability. These are immediate responses to immediate threats and are useful to the lawfully armed concealed carry licensee as well as the unarmed citizen. This course blends well with the recommended concealed carry licensee courses for Weapon Retention and Weapon Disarming and other Tactical courses offered by Concealed Carry Safety for Personal Defense inc, but, as all courses here are stand alone offerings with unique benefits. Occasional practice helps retain the skills acquired in this course and refresher and update sessions will be scheduled as well as available by special request.

1) Adults (Men and Women)
2) Women Only

Please wear clothing that will  allow you to participate in moderate physical activity with clean athletic footwear. Please bring a towel as you may perspire.

*THIS IS AN ACTIVE HANDS ON PARTICIPATION TRAINING SESSION.*

  • We will not ask you to participate in anything beyond your limitations. *SAFETY FIRST*
  • We recommend females to wear a sports bra.
  • Males should wear hard cup supporter protection.
  • Mouth guards are strongly recommended for all participants.
